Famous street rapper, Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable, has laid off all his studio staff after he was given N7,000 as turnout for a month.
In an Instagram video, the singer spoke on how he rebranded his studio, Zeh Nation, to a standard taste with the intention of making money.
Portable further revealed that he makes millions of naira in the studio in days but was shocked after returning from a month’s trip to meet sales of only N7K.
According to the expectant father, his studio staff are ripping him off while speaking badly of him publicly and for that, he felt the need to do without them.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that earlier a woman claimed to be his mother in a video serving rounds on social media.
In the clip, the elderly woman avowed that she was the mother of Portable while stating that she wants to see her son.
She went on to put out Portable’s signature dance moves and pose while someone sang the crooner’s hit track, ‘Azaman’ in the background.
The video went viral and a lot of netizens marveled over the similar traits possessed by Portable and the woman.
Reacting to the clip, Portable reposted it alongside a caption that reads:
“Wahala Wahala Wahala ????????????????????”
Portable became famous after contributing to the song “ZaZoo Zehh” featuring Olamide[5] and Nigerian dancer Poco Lee. During his early stage of fame, he became well known for calling out his business partners on social media for scamming him on business deals such as artist management and also on his Instagram handle where he mostly does all his controversial activities.
On 18 July 2022, Portable made a video on Instagram claiming to be the founder of the notorious cult group One Million Boys, which got Nigerians’ attention in order for an investigation by the Nigeria Police Force,[9] which he later denies saying what he meant was one million followers. This resulted in him getting disqualified for The Headies 2022 which was announced by the organizers on 26 July 2022.
