“On Wednesday, 5th of December 2023, we saw some disgruntled elements who paraded themselves as Civil Society Organizations under the aegis of Network of Civil Society for Economic Sustainability in what they said was a protest nick named “Wike Must Go”, in the Central Area of the FCT. The spokesperson mentioned some reasons why they want H. E. Barr. Nyesom Wike out as Minister of the FCT.

“Firstly, the FCT and its land acquisition processes have in the past been submerged in corruption itself, making the nation lose several trillions in terms of revenue.

“This is exactly what Wike is scrapping from the FCT.

Sadly, the corruption is fighting back.
