Okeke who is a board member of Trustees of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Professionals Forum, made this suggestion during a press briefing with journalists on Wednesday in Abuja.

According to him, the news of corruption is rampant in the country which is drawing the country backward but Nigerians are keeping mute to the matter.

He said: “You keep on hearing about people stealing money and get away with it. We can’t move, this country cannot move. I don’t care what policies the president came up with. If people that are holding positions are giving work to do and they don’t do it should be punished.

“We are not different from America citizens, they are not really better than we are. Their country has checks and balances that stopped people from committing crimes.

“We must change and reform our judiciary to make sure people are held accountable for their actions; that to me is a great chance for this country.

” if you go to other countries; Nigerians are performing and doing well. Why can’t we do well here; Why do we have to continue in this way? This is not right for the people,” he lamented.
