Rita Daniels, actress and the mother of popular Nollywood star Regina Daniels, has bagged a bachelor’s degree in law at 47.
The thespian who is in her late 40s didn’t let her age be an inhibiting factor as she accomplished her dream of becoming a lawyer.
She took to her Instagram page to share photos from her convocation ceremony which took place at the National Open University.
Her photos capture her looking particularly ecstatic at having bagged an LLB degree, and would soon be heading off to Law school to become a barrister.
Sharing the photos on her page, she wrote: “The LLB Law 12th convocation of NOUN 2023 which took place Saturday 25th March, 2023.”
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that Rita has been in the Nigerian Movie Industry for almost two decades and a force to reckon with in the entertainment industry.
She is an indigene of Ogwashi-Uku, a small town in Delta State, the Southern part of Nigeria. Information about her education is not available as of when this article is being written.
Rita has always been passionate about acting ever since she was a young girl. She attended the Anglican Church where she played the lead roles in church dramas, musicals, and competitions. She made her entry professionally into Nollywood many years ago.
After that, she has been featured playing roles in several movies, and over the years she has gradually become a Nollywood icon. She has exceptional acting skills and has risen through the ranks of her career.
Rita is the current chairman of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Delta chapter. She is also the majority leader and counselor of Aniocha South LGA, Delta State.
Besides entertainment, Rita is also an entrepreneur, the sole proprietor of Last Point Resort, CEO of Regina Daniels children foundation (A charity foundation set up by her daughter, Regina Daniels, to reach out to Nigerian kids living in poverty), and also CEO of Chris Daniels Nigerian Ltd.
