Former lawmaker who represented kaduna central, Senator Shehu Sani, has likened Atiku Abubakar’s visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura as ‘trekking in the Sahara’.
According to Sani, Atiku’s visit to Buhari, would have been okay, if the purpose was related to Sallah.
He, however, said it’s like trekking in the Sahara, if it was a political mission.
The Kaduna born politician made this known on his X handle on Sunday.
His post reads: “If the Daura visit is a sallah homage, that’s okay. If it’s a political mission, it’s like trekking in the Sahara.”
Recall that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the last general election visited Buhari on Saturday at his residence in Daura, Katsina State.
Atiku was accompanied by the immediate past Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, alongside other PDP stakeholders.
