Tears as body of aide to Anambra commissioner killed by kidnappers arrives hometown

The corpse of Barrister ABK Offiah, a lawyer and aide to the Anambra Commissioner for Youths Development, Patrick Agha Mba, who was killed by kidnappers have arrived his hometown, Ontisha today.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that on Friday, August 19th, abducted the Anambra State Commissioner for Youth Development, Patrick Agha Mba and his wife in Edo State while they were heading to Abuja for the wedding ceremony of Adaora, daughter of Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State.

Ernest Offiah was amongst the victims of the unfortunate incident.

The deceased had reportedly celebrated his birthday on August 15, a day before the tragic incident.

 In the video that surfaced social media, Offiah remains were brought back to Onitsha on Sunday, August 18th amidst tears.

TNG recalls that the commissioner and his wife, who were kidnapped during the attack have since regained their freedom.

Offiah, from Onitsha, holds the traditional title of Kpajiego and was a prominent youth leader.
