Some Nigerians residing in United Kingdom on Friday staged a protest demanding the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari for abandoning Nigeria to come for medical attention in the country.
TheNewsGuru.com, TNG reports that President Buhari departed the Presidential Villa for the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at about 2:30pm on Tuesday after which he proceeded to London for a routine medical check-up.
However, despite the United Kingdom Government subsisting COVID-19 ban on mass gatherings, angry Nigerians took to the vicinity of Abuja House to protest against President Buhari.
Most of those that spoke defended the President’ resignation if he can not fix the nation’s health system rather than traveling abroad.
