Video of late gospel singer Aduke Gold’s last moments in hospital surfaces

A video showing the last moment of late Nigerian gospel singer, Aduke Ajayi, popularly known as Aduke Gold before her death has surfaced on social media.

TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) earlier reports that Aduke Gold’s colleague in the music industry, Esther Igbekele on Tuesday announced the news of her death on Instagram.

“A general has fallen. Aduke Gold #RIP [Rest in Peace],” Igbekele wrote.

Although, the cause of her death had yet to be disclosed, it was alleged that she died in surgery.

A video shared by fellow gospel act, Yinka Ayefele on Instagram on Wednesday night, showed the final moments of the deceased singer in the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan where she underwent surgery.

Ajayi, in the video could be seen walking down to the theatre, with her holding her IVF drip bag in her hands and was escorted by a doctor.

Sharing the video, Ayefele caption, “Going for surgery not knowing she is not coming back. Rest in Peace #Aduke_Gold.”

It was, meanwhile, gathered that Aduke Gold died on Monday.

Aduke, known for her soulful voice and uplifting gospel messages, broke into limelight with her song, “Nitori Ogo”, which translates to mean “Because of Glory”.

Some of her top songs on Apple Music are Shina Ayo, No Be Joke, Temidayo, Gbemiga and Kobo, her latest release.

Aduke, a native of Osun State, bagged her first degree in History and International Relations from the Lagos State University (LASU).

She is an internationally certified child educator with a higher degree in Child Psychology and a Diploma in Montessori method of education from the United Kingdom.

She has other diploma’s in Special Education, Aquaculture, Cake making, Cookery and Decoration, Music rudiment, business, and piano respectively.

She is also gifted in dealing with children with special needs like autism, cerebral palsy and dyslexia.

As of the time of filing this report, the cause of her death is still unknown. Also, no official statement from her family or management yet.
