A video of Ezenwo Nyesom Wike in which he was heard saying he is not interested in becoming a minister after his tenure as governor has resurfaced on the Internet.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports President Bola Tinubu on Thursday sent the name of Wike and 27 others to the Nigerian Senate for screening and confirmation as ministers.
Shortly thereafter, a video of the former Rivers State Governor speaking during the inauguration of the lounge at the Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa resurfaced on the Internet.
Wike was heard in the video saying: “Only one person can be a minister from a state, I will not be a minister. I will not. I am not a liability, Rivers State is an asset”.

TNG reports the Nigerian Senate will begin screening the nominated ministers on Monday.
