The wife of former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, Taiwo Obasanjo, has said the refusal of her son Olujonwo Obasanjo and daughter-in-law (to be) Tope Adebutu to change their wedding date as she earlier advised will bring several untold disastrous happenings on the nation.
TheNewsGuru.com reports that Taiwo Obasanjo, had last month filed a suit at an Ikeja High Court, seeking to stop the wedding of her son, Olujonwo Obasanjo to Tope Adebutu, scheduled for May 11.
Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo and the father of the bride, Sir Kessington Adebutu, promoter of Premier Lotto popularly called “Baba Ijebu” are respondents to the suit.
Taiwo Obasanjo, who is the twin sister of Chief Kenny Martins, the former Coordinator of the Police Equipment Fund, is seeking a postponement of the wedding for a date later than June 1.
In a letter to the Methodist Church of Nigeria, she said the dates chosen for the wedding (May 11 and 13, 2017) would lead to strange deaths and plane crashes.
According to Taiwo Obasanjo, “The two dates were chosen and compelled by Satan for them to lure unsuspecting numerous souls to a banquet of death, that will result in strange holocaust in our nation.
“After the wedding, you will be hearing and seeing incidents of plane crashes, fire incidents, multiple road accidents, tankers and trailer killing people, cancers, diseases of kidney, liver, prostrate, eyes issues and diverse health problem causing strange deaths and the economy situation will worsen.”
TheNewsGuru.com reports that Mrs Obasanjo’s claim is coming at a time when the Ikeja Division of the Lagos High Court dismissed a suit she filed to stop the marriage of her son for lack of jurisdiction.
