Chief Blessing Oborevwori, while delivering a speech during the hosting of PDP Women Leaders in the various Wards by Okpe First Lady, Princess Emuobor Ejinyere, represented by her S.A, Mrs. Eguonor Aghworo, called on those aspiring to vie for the post of Council Chairman to drop such ambition and wait for Godwin Ejinyere to complete his second tenure.

Oborevwori stated that there was never a time Politicians in Okpe LGA sat down and swore that a person can only lead the Council for one tenure.

“Even if there is a jinx, it has been broken already by Chief Godwin Ejinyere.

“We must work together to move Okpe LGA Forward. Let anyone aspiring to be the Council Chairman wait for Ejinyere to finish his second tenure.

“Okpe needs a young vibrant man like Chief Godwin Ejinyere as Chairman. He’s smart, intelligent and hardworking. Lets return him as Chairman,” he stated.
