The staff unions of University of Lagos (UNILAG) are not taking the purported removal of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin Ogundipe calmly.
TheNewsGuru.com, TNG reports that all four unions; Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities (NASU) and National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT) held a congress on Thursday (today) where it was resolved that due process was not followed in removing the VC.
They however insisted that Ogundipe remains the VC.
The VC was later welcomed in a carnival like atmosphere into the university.
