President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) met behind closed doors with Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Edo State gubernatorial election.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Ize-Iyamu, who was led to the meeting by the Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, who is the chairman of APC Caretaker Committee, was handed a flag of the APC flag by the President.
Governors Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State, Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi also accompanied the APC candidate to the villa.
However, it was observed that the immediate past National Chairman of APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, who is also from Edo, was conspicuously absent at the meeting.
