The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Abdullahi Adamu has said former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu would be sanctioned by the party.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Adamu made this known while speaking with journalists on Saturday at the national secretariat of the APC in Abuja, the federal capital territory (FCT).
According to the APC National Chairman, Tinubu insulted President Muhammadu Buhari in his outburst in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital while meeting with delegates.
Recall that the former Lagos State Governor had in Abeokuta said without him Buhari would not have fulfilled his dream of becoming the president of Nigeria.
Adamu described the action as unbecoming and insulting. However, he did not elaborate on the nature of the sanction awaiting Tinubu.
“We may punish him (Tinubu) for his utterances against the President,” Adamu said.
