The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State has adopted Senator Bassey Otu as the governorship candidate for the 2023 general elections.
The former Senator emerged through consensus in an exercise held at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.
The process involved 17 aspirants, and was presided over by the state leader of the party and Governor, Professor Ben Ayade with the state APC chairman, Alphonsus Eba, state executives and party stakeholders in attendance.
Thenewsguru.com reports that Senator Otu represented the Southern Senatorial District in the Senate.
