Ahead of the Kogi guber elections coming up later in the year, Arch Dauda Isah has emerged as the governorship candidate of the Allied Peoples’ Movement (APM).
Isah polled 69 votes to emerged the winner of the primary election held at APM Secretariat in Lokoja with a heavy security presence.
The election was strictly monitored by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), returning officer Oyadeji Ayodele Adebayo.
Speaking shortly after his election, the flagbearer of APM, said the party is determined to rescue Kogi State from bad leadership.
He described the exercise as peaceful, expressing optimism that APM will take over Lugard House during the governorship election in Kogi State.
INEC has fixed the Kogi gubernatorial elections for November 11, 2023.
