Nigeria at 63: We can surmount our challenges with right attitude, PDP chieftain

Prince Dotun Babayemi, a chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)h as said that the challenges the nation is currently facing can be surmounted with right attitudes and dedication of citizens.

Babayemi said this in a congratulatory message to commemorate Nigeria’s 63rd independence anniversary on Sunday in Osogbo.
The PDP chieftain also implored Nigerians to direct their energies toward ensuring that the country became one of the best in the world.

Babayemi, who noted there was no doubt that the nation was currently faced with many challenges, said that the problems could be surmounted with right attitudes and dedication by everyone.

According to him, the country can always be at the front row among others, if the populace could rally round the government to bring to bear, its lofty dreams.

Babayemi, a former governorship aspirant in the state, said that the blame game which had become a common thing among the people, especially the elites, must be done away with.

“It is high time we refocused our energies as a people and country and stop our common refrain of blame game if our country, Nigeria, is to occupy its right pride of place among the comity of nations,” he asserted

” The age of independence of the country must be made to reflect in its growth.
“Everyone has a role to play to make Nigeria great. No contributions in this direction can be too small for we are all stakeholders in this project called Nigeria,”he said.
