Reps begin process of electing Principal Officers

The House of Representatives has commenced the process of nominating of its principal officers.

The clerk of the House is currently taking the roll call of Members-elect on the floor.

TheNewsGuru.com reports that the Senate and House of Representatives are conducting their affairs at the same time, unlike previous inauguration where the Senate elects it’s principal officers after which the clerk would then conduct the same exercise for the lower legislative chamber.
