Premier League club and European champions Chelsea are named club of the year, the first team to win that trophy at Ballon d’Or 2021 awards.
Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta said, “We’d like to be there with you. Unfortunately, we couldn’t come. I’m really proud of this moment, this award.”
Blues boss Thomas Tuchel: “It’s a nice trophy because it’s for the club. We have a very successful women’s team and academy. We’re happy to have this award. We had a lot of players nominated.”
