Nigerian Midfielder, Alhassan Yusuf has explained that his injury was not serious in the Super Eagles 1-1 draw against Equatorial Guinea.
Yusuf made his competitive debut for the Super Eagles in the game and was impressive before he picked up an injury.
The 23-year-old was however stretchered off in the 69th minute after realizing he couldn’t continue playing the game.
The midfielder was replaced by Joe Aribo.
“It’s just a cramp, we will see if I’ll be available against Cote D’Ivoire,”Yusuf said after the game.
The Super Eagles will be up against Cote d’ivoire at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan on Thursday.
