It’s Christmas and there is no better way to enjoy the holiday than watching football and throwing some popcorn in the mouth.
Most leagues are on break but the EPL is live with promise of interesting fixtures and money making opportunities.This week of the EPLis one of the best to make some money and win big to celebrate this festive period into the New Year.
We have carefully selected some matches you might want to stake on.
Watford v Crystal Palace (Double Chance: 1X)
Troy Deeney scored all three of Watford’s competitive goals against Crystal Palace last season. The Hornets have not won a top-flight league match on Boxing Day since 1986 (v Luton 2-0).
Crystal Palace have won twice in seven previous Premier League matches on Boxing Day – versus Wimbledon in 1992 and Aston Villa in 2013 (D3L2).
Crystal Palace have played Watford twice before on Boxing Day, winning 2-0 in 1949 but losing by the same score in 1952.
Arsenal v West Bromwich Albion (Away To Score: Yes)
Alexis Sanchez has been involved in 18 goals in 17 Premier League appearances this season (12 goals, six assists).
The Gunners have not lost three successive league matches since January 2012. This is also the last time that they suffered three league defeats in the same month.
Matt Phillips has had a hand in seven goals in his last seven Premier League appearances(three goals, four assists).
West Brom have won two and lost two of their four matches so far in December. The Baggies have not won three Premier League matches in the same month since November 2012.
Burnley v Middlesborough (Double Chance: 1X)
Burnley have won a higher proportion of points at home this season than any other side in the Premier League or any other football league (94% – 16 of 17).
The Clarets have failed to score in their last three Boxing Day games, one of which was against Boro in 2013 (L3).
Boro have lost just one of their last seven visits to Turf Moor in the league (W3D3).Middlesbrough have won their last five Boxing Day encounters without conceding a single goal.
Chelsea v Bournemouth (1X2: 1)
Victory would mean Chelsea set a club record of 12 straight league wins, beating a run of 11 in September 2009. The overall top-flight record is 14 set by Arsenal in 2002.
Chelsea are top of the Premier League on Christmas Day for the fifth time. They have won the title on the four previous occasions they topped the table at Christmas (2014-15, 2009-10, 2005-06 & 2004-05).
AFC Bournemouth are unbeaten in their last six league matches on 26 December (W4D2L0) and have only conceded one goal.
This is the highest position AFC Bournemouth have ever been in the English league system at Christmas (10th).
Leicester City v Everton (12 Double Chance)
Leicester did the double over Everton last season on their way to the title, for the first time since 1985-86.
The Foxes have conceded a goal in their last 10 Premier League matches – only Hull are on a longer run without a clean sheet (15 matches).
Everton are unbeaten in their last four Premier League away matches on Boxing Day, scoring one goal in each (W2D2L0).
Everton have lost only two of their last 13 Premier League matches against a reigning champion (W6D5L2).
Manchester United v Sunderland (1X2: 1)
Jermain Defoe has scored six times on Boxing Day in the Premier League, more than any current player. The record PL scorer on Boxing Day is Robbie Fowler with nine.
Since the start of November, ZlatanIbrahimovic has scored seven goals from just eight shots on target.
Manchester United have won more Premier League matches on Boxing Day than any other team (18).
Since 2014-15, Manchester United have won 64% of the 44 Premier League matches Michael Carrick has started, compared to 39% of the 49 without him.
Swansea v West Ham (O/U 2.5: Over2.5)
Swansea City have won consecutive Boxing Day fixtures for the first time since 2007, defeating Aston Villa in 2014 and West Brom in 2015, both 1-0.
Swansea defeated West Ham United 4-1 in May, their only won in their last seven Premier League fixtures against the Hammers (D3L3).
West Ham have kept a clean sheet in their last two Premier League matches – they last kept three in a row in December 2015.
SlavenBilic’s side have not won any of their last seven Premier League away matches against opposition in the relegation zone (W0D5L2).
Hull City v Manchester City (2 1X2)
The Tigers have won their last two league matches on Boxing Day, scoring three goals each time (3-0 v Burnley in 2015, 3-1 v Sunderland in 2014).
Raheem Sterling has been involved in eight goals in 15 Premier League appearances this season (five goals, three assists) – the same number as in 31 apps in 2015-16 (six goals, two assists).
Of Hull’s 14 Premier League goals this season, Robert Snodgrass has been involved in half (five goals, two assists).
Kevin De Bruyne has a league-high nine assists in 2016-17. He assisted nine in 25 Premier League appearances in 2015-16.

Liverpool v
Liverpool have won five of their last six Premier League matches against Stoke, losing the other 6-1 in May 2015.
The Reds are unbeaten in 15 Premier League home matches (W9D6L0) – the longest current unbeaten home run in the competition.
Joe Allen has scored five goals in 16 Premier League appearances for Stoke City this season; one more than he scored in his entire Liverpool career in the competition (four goals in 91 matches).
Mark Hughes has never won a Premier League match as a manager at Anfield (W0D4L6).
Southampton v Tottenham Hotspur (GGGG/NG)
Southampton’s 2-1 win over Spurs in May ended a run of seven Premier League matches without beating them (D1L6).
Only Chelsea (43) have allowed opponents fewer shots on target than Southampton (45) this season.
Spurs are winless in five Premier League away matches, losing the last two (D3L2).
Kyle Walker has assisted four PL goals this season; more than any other defender.
