Chelsea scoop three Premier League awards for November

Chelsea became the first club in the history English premier League to win all three awards in a month.Antonio Conte won Manager of the Month for November after guiding Chelsea to three wins over Everton, Middlesbrough and title contenders Tottenham.

The Blues are now on an eight-match winning streak in the Premier League, in which they’ve scored 22 goals and conceded just twice.

“It is fantastic to receive this award,” Conte said. “For sure I would like to again share this award with my players, with my staff, with the club, with the fans.

“I would like to repeat that we win and we lose together. In this case we won together and I like to share with all the people who worked at Chelsea.”

Chelsea striker Diego Costa claimed November’s Player of the Month, helping Chelsea increase their three point lead at the top of the table with two goals and as many assists.

“Things are going well at the moment. The team is doing well and this shows that things are working out for me,” Costa said.

“The team performance has a bearing on this individual award. If we were bottom, I doubt I’d have won it.

“So, it’s down to my team-mates, thanks to the club and hopefully we can continue this winning run.

Thanks also to the fans for this award but the most important thing for me and the club is that we are up there fighting for the league at the end of the season.”

Chelsea forward Pedro picked up the Goal of the Month with his stunning equalising strike in the 2-1 victory over Tottenham.

“This is the best goal I have scored for Chelsea,” Pedro said. “The game was very difficult, it was a derby, and the goal came at the right moment for us.

“It was important to score before half-time. Thank you to the fans for voting for me. I am very happy with this award.”
