Ryan Taylor, the fiancé to Nigerian disc jockey, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has responded to his quitting a boxing match in the first round due to a blow to the eyes from his opponent, Swarmz.
Taking to his Instagram story to express how the punch met his face, Ryan stated that he immediately lost sight; hence the reason for quitting.
“The glove caught my fucking eyeball. I can’t see shit. Mad …,” he wrote while adding a laughing emoji.
The amateur boxer had gone head-to-head with Brandon Scott alias Swarmz at the OVO Arena Wembley.
Swarmz landed the first punch of the fight against Ryan at the Misfits Boxing 4 show in London which rendered Dj Cuppy’s husband-to-be blind.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports that this is the second time in less than a year that his fight ended unexpectedly.

The fight, however, stirred mixed reactions from Nigerians who had a thing or two to say about the match.

Another user added, “Is the hot punch for me????some of our nigeria guys who had a crush on cuppy will be glad to see this video ??????”
