The Flamingos of Nigeria have been drawn’ in the same group as hosts Dominican Republic, Ecuador and New Zealand in Group A at the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The draw ceremony took place in San Domingo in Dominican Republic.
The Flamingos will face New Zealand in their first game on Wednesday, October 16.
Bankole Olowookere’s side will do battle with Ecuador in their second group game three days later.
The West Africans will then round off their group stage campaign with a clash with Dominican Republic on Tuesday, October 22.
It would be recalled that Nigeria came third at the last edition of the biennial competition hosted by India.
