Arsenal are set to lose French striker Alexandre Lacazette on a free transfer in the summer.
The 30-year-old can begin talks with clubs outside of England in January, and is reportedly already taking steps to secure his next club.
Lacazette, who netted 17 goals for the club last season, is considering a move to Atletico Madrid.
According to Le10Sport, Atleti have a good relationship with Lacazette and his camp, and would be very interested if he was available on a free transfer.
Arsenal have a history of allowing big players to reach the end of their contracts, with similar siutations occurring with Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey.
While they did secure Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Manchester United in exchange for Sanchez, the club could have sold Sanchez for a significant fee in the previous transfer window.
