Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane has broken Thierry Henry’s long-standing record after scoring from the spot against Arsenal in Saturday’s derby game at the Emirate.
Kane converted from the spot to make it 1-1 at the Emirates shortly before the break.
Kane has been the highest goal scorer in the North London derby he has now scored 14 goals the highest by any player ever in the derby.
Kane has scored a total of 44goals in all London derbies thereby beating Henry’s record of 43 goals.
Ex-Spurs striker Teddy Sheringham sits in third place in the standings with 32 strikes in London derbies throughout his career.
This is not the first time Kane will beat Henry’s record as he moved above the two-time Premier League winner in the all-time goalscoring charts back in March with a brace against Everton.
Arsenal defeated Tottenhan 3-1 at the Emirate on Saturday to consolidate their position on the summit of the log.
