Newly crowned English Premier League Champions, Manchester City, alongside second placed Arsenal, Liverpool in third and Aston Villa will feature in next season’s UEFA Champions League group stage.
Fifth place Tottenham Hotspurs Will feature in the Europa League while the other slot depends solely on the outcome of the FA Cup game between Manchester City and Manchester United.
Should United win they will grab automatic slot to the Europa league next season but if City win then sixth place Chelsea will progress to the Europa League as England’s second representative.
The last slot that will represent England on the continent dangles between Chelsea that finished sixth and Newcastle on Seventh position.
Surprisingly, and for a long while, all the teams that gained promotion will return back to the lower division; the Championship.
Sheffield United, Burnley and Luton Town have all been relegated to the Championships.
