Following a straight red card given to Manchester United’s united midfielder, Casemiro in the match against Southampton, the club has opted not to appeal the decision.
Casemiro will miss Manchester United’s next four games in the English Premier League.
The Brazilian was shown a straight red card by referee Anthony Taylor with 11 minutes left before the interval.
Taylor had initially produced a yellow card for the tackle.
But VAR advised him to check the pitchside monitor and the card was changed to a red one.
It was Casemiro’s second sending off in three Premier League games.
And according to the Manchester Evening News, United boss Erik ten Hag had no issue with the decision and the Red Devils will not appeal the suspension.
