Former Liverpool and Manchester united star, Michael Owen has predicted the scoreline of Sunday’s Premier League clash between Liverpool and Manchester United.
Owen, who also pitched his tent with Real Madrid at some points backed Jurgen Klopp’s side to beat the Red Devils 2-0.
Liverpool will host Man United in a Premier League tie at Anfield this weekend.
Man United head to the game after losing 3-0 against Bournemouth in their last Premier League tie, while Liverpool won Crystal Palace 2-1.
“I’d say Man Utd will be a little bit nervous about going to Anfield considering their recent form,” Owen told BoyleSports.
“My concern with Manchester United is that they will go to Anfield and lose 2-0, then a few players will be relieved that it wasn’t a 5-0 embarrassment! If I were them, I would pick a way of playing, stick to it, and then hope to get better.
“I’d say 2-0 to Liverpool. It will be a reasonably comfortable win. Look at how the two teams are playing at the moment!”
