Liverpool today held Chelsea to a goalless draw at Anfield as both teams settled for just one point at the end of the encounter.
The 0-0 draw is the fifth in a row and the third straight goalless draw between the two sides in all competitions.
Chelsea’s new signing, Mykhailo Petrovych Mudryk was introduced in the 57th minute and he shone like a million stars but was unlucky not to have gotten on the scorer’s sheet.
Liverpool and Chelsea have relatively struggled this present season and are currently locked on 8th and 9th position respectively.
According to Chelsea’s coach Graham Potter, in his post match analysis said it was an improved performance.
Graham said “Our performance was good. I’m happy with the energy in the team. It’s always tough at Anfield. I’m happy with a lot of it. I obviously wanted to win, but it’s a clean sheet and a point and we move forward. First half we were decent. We were a little bit unlucky not to get the goal, but offside is what it is. Overall a positive day other than the fact we wanted three points. We’ve had a tough period but the group has stayed together and remains calm. The group is fighting and I’m happy with their performance.”
