EPL: Ten Hag to receive 25 percent pay cut If he remains United coach next season

Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has been told he will receive a pay cut should he be retained for next season and beyond.

According to a report on ESPN the United gaffer, will take a substantial 25 percent pay cut at Old Trafford, following the team’s likely failure to secure qualification for the Champions League.

Ten Hag signed a three -year contract with United after he joined from Ajax in May 2002.

Since joining United, Ten Hag has struggled to stabilized Manchester United with the club currently on 7th position on the log.

United trail a top-four position by a massive 16 points.

However, there are other claims that says United’s revamped football hierarchy, led by minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s INEOS, has been actively exploring potential alternatives to Ten Hag.

United have penciled down A -list coaches like Gareth Southgate, Bayern Munich’s Thomas Tuchel, Brighton’s Roberto De Zerbi, Brentford’s Thomas Frank, and Wolves’ Gary O’Neil as potential replacement for Ten Hag.
