Manchester United interim manager Ralf Rangnick has been granted his work permit to fully resume duties at Old Trafford.
TheNewsGuru reports, that the 63-year-old German was appointed on Monday, but he has been waiting for the approval process and necessary paperwork to be completed.
However, Michael Carrick, who has taken charge of games against Villarreal and Chelsea, will be responsible for team selection and tactics.
Rangnick will now be in the dug-out for Sunday’s visit of Crystal Palace.
The German was given a tour of the Theatre of Dreams by United’s Football Director, John Murtough yesterday.
Rangnick checked out the Old Trafford pitch and met staff, and is understood to have also visited United’s Carrington training complex.
The United board have faith in Rangnick to turn their season around and are ready to hand the German coach up to £100 million in January to strengthen his squad.
