Leicester City midfielder Wilifred Ndidi’s 89th minute strike earns The Foxes late draw against West Ham at King Power stadium.
West Ham got an early lead in the 30th minute with a powerful header from defender Fabian Balbuena.
West Ham defender Declan Rice reacted to the late equaliser saying ,”It’s difficult to do much more than we did. We got that slice of luck that we were more than warranted to”.
“We need to work on getting that second ball. They were looking for it and were first to it. We need to be more switched on and not concede those kinds of goals”.
“The manager told us not to give them anything to hang on to. We tried to get the goal early but we couldn’t. I think if we had we could have gone on to win the game comfortably but we kept plugging away”.
Leicester goalscorer Wilfred Ndidi said, “It was really difficult in the first half but the second half was better. We just had to keep going”.
“I didn’t know if it [the goal] was going to come but it did eventually. It was obviously a studs up tackle [from Mark Noble]. I think it was the right decision.”
Mark Noble was shown red card for studs-up tackle on Ndidi in 38th minute of the game.
Chelsea face Burnley, while Arsenal play away at Crystal Palace and Manchester United host Everton on Sunday.
