Premier League newcomers, Nottingham Forest who lost their first match of the season to Newcastle United are poised to sign Watford striker, Emmanuel Dennis.
The super Eagles striker featured for Watford in the EPL last season but unfortunately, the hornets got relegated to the championship.
Although. Dennis has been linked with West Ham United, Crystal Palace, and Newcastle United following Watford’s relegation from the Premier League.
The 23-year-old was earlier linked with Nottingham Forest but Steve Cooper’s side later cooled their interest in the player after signing Jesse Lingard from Manchester United.
According to the Athletic, Forest are now ready to make a firm offer for Dennis.
Watford values the Nigeria international at around £20m.
The Hornets paid Belgian Pro League outfit, Club Brugge £3m for Dennis last summer.
He scored 10 goals and recorded six assists in 33 league appearances for the Hornets last season.
TheNewsGuru.com recalls that Nottingham has already signed Nigerian striker, Taiwo Awoniyi from Union Berlin for a club-record fee in the region of £17.5m.
The 24-year-old joins Forest from the Bundesliga club on a five-year deal and becomes the newly-promoted Premier League side’s first international signing of the summer.
