Heartland is on the verge of returning to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL),
The Naze Millionaires have reportedly reached an agreement with Beyond Limits Academy to purchase a league slot.
Heartland, a five-time NPFL champion, was relegated to the Nigeria National League (NNL) last season. Meanwhile, Beyond Limits Academy won the NNL title last season, securing promotion to the top flight. The academy shares ownership with Remo Stars, another NPFL club.
Managing two NPFL teams could be challenging for the owner, Kunle Soname, who has reportedly agreed to sell Beyond Limits Academy’s slot. According to multiple sources, Heartland is now awaiting NPFL approval before officially announcing that they will replace Beyond Limits Academy in the NPFL for the 2024/2025 season.
