England soccer legend and former Real Madrid and Manchester United star, David Beckham has picked Chavez’s and Richarlison’s goals as his favourite of the tournament.
Asked about his favourite goal of the tournament and he picked two of the goals scored at the Mundial.
He said “I think Richarlison’s scissor kick for me was one of the best [goals].
“There’s been great goals all the way through the tournament, but if I had to pick two it would be Chavez’s and Richarlison’s. I’m going to have to say that was a very special one.”
Meanwhile, David Beckham has also described Arsenal World Cup star, Bukayo Saka as ‘quality’, star adding that he will rule the football world.
Argentina beat France 4-2 on penalties to win the World Cup on Sunday following a 3-3 draw after 120 minutes.
Manchester United hero, Beckham was asked about England following their run to the quarter-finals where they were beaten by France.
Beckham told BeanymanSports,”You look at the quality of Bukayo Saka and then you look at the quality of Jude Bellingham and the players that we have coming through in our country.
“I think it’s a real positive.”
The former Real Madrid man was asked about his favourite goal at the tournament and he added, “I think Richarlison’s scissor kick for me was one of the best [goals].
