Newly promoted Serie A club side Cremonese are concluding arrangement to snap up Super Eagles forward Cyriel Dessers from Genk FC of Belgium according to transfer market expert, Fabrizio Romano.
Dessers spent last season on loan at Eredivisie club, Feyenoord Rotterdam from Belgian Pro League outfit, KRC Genk.
The 27-year-old caught the eye after scoring 10 goals in 12 appearances for Feyenoord in the UEFA Europa Conference League last season.
Dessers returned to Genk after Feyenoord refused to make his loan deal permanent.
Dessers could be plying his trade in the Serie A next season if the deal with Cremonese sees the light of the day
“Former Feyenoord striker, Cyriel Dessers is set to leave Genk to join Serie A side Cremonese. Talks are progressing well since last week and the deal could be sealed soon. #transfers,” Romano wrote on his Twitter handle.
“Dessers was in Italy with his agents days ago and he’s tempted by Serie A chance,” he added.
