West Ham boss Slaven Bilic believes Tottenham are the best team in the Premier League.
Spurs have only lost three league games this season under Mauricio Pochettino but remain four points behind high-flyers Chelsea.
The Blues appeared to be suffering a dip in form after losing two games in April, but Antonio Conte’s side responded with fine performances against Southampton and Everton.
Chelsea are on course for a domestic double after also booking their place in the FA Cup final with a 4-2 win over Spurs at Wembley.
Despite this, Bilic says his West Ham side will be coming up against the best team in the league when they welcome Tottenham to the London Stadium on Friday night.
‘That game is always big, it’s a derby, and it can’t be just an ordinary game,’ Bilic said.
‘Then, if you add to that that they need points to stay in the race and we need points to climb or to make us safe.
‘We’re going to approach it in a very positive way, knowing we are playing, for me, against the best team in the league.
‘Hopefully, I’m going to enjoy it, but it’s going to be a very nervous game. We will have to be on top of our game.
‘But we did it last year, beating them at home when they were also on fire and everything.’
After losing five straight games earlier in the year, West Ham are unbeaten since early April and will be looking to guarantee their top-flight status with a positive result against Spurs.
