UCL: Liverpool’s Salah breaks two records in one night

Liverpool and Egypt forward, Mohamed Salah, has broken two records in one single UEFA Champions League night after the Anfield giants put 7 goals against Rangers 1 on match day 4.

Salah was subbed in for  Henderson in the 69th minute and scored the fastest-ever hat-trick in the Champions League history as they thrashed Rangers 7-1.

The Egyptian also scored his 45th UCL goal thereby becoming the highest-scoring African in the Champions League overtaking  Diddier Drogba on 44 goals.

The Scottish side took the lead through Scott Arfield in the 17th minute but Roberto Firmino equalized before the Reds scored six more goals.

This included three in six minutes from substitute Salah.

Salah then took over, scoring the first of his three goal on the  75th minute and securing the match ball with two more ruthless finishes six minutes after  against the hapless Ranger defense.

Rangers conceded a seventh to Harvey Elliott that was eventually awarded by VAR.

Liverpool’s spectacular second half meant it was Rangers’ heaviest-ever defeat in a competitive match at Ibrox.
