For the second month running, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, at the church monthly Holy Ghost Service, led the large congregation at the church’s new three by three kilometres auditorium, in praying against all kidnappers and for their total destruction in Nigeria.
While thanking God for answering the prayer of the church after the last Holy Ghost Service where they specifically prayed for the exposure and arrest of all kidnap kingpins, Pastor Adeboye this month led the congregation in praying: “We are not talking of kingpin of kidnappers alone, we are talking about every kidnapper in Nigeria, root them out, small or big in the entire nation, Lord root them out in the month of July. Wherever they maybe, just uproot them out Lord; don’t let anyone of them escape. Its either they repent or root them out.”
It would be recalled that shortly after the church corporately prayed against kidnap kingpins last month, the special unit in the Inspector General’s office, headed by ACP Abba Kyari, made its biggest catch: the arrest of the “brightest and smartest” billionaire kidnap kingpin, Evans, who had a N30m bounty placed on his head by the police.
Nigerians easily remembered the prayer by Pastor Adeboye a few days earlier where he had led the church to specifically call on God, to within seven days, expose and cause the arrest of all kidnap kingpins and their collaborators.

The General Overseer also led the church in committing every evil society or cult, by whatever name they are called, shedding innocent blood of Nigerians, into the hands of God. “Send down your fire and consume them,” the congregants prayed.
Pastor Adeboye then led the church in committing into the hands of God, every person and organisations that are making things difficult for the common man, saying “Father expose them and dislodge them.”
In reacting to some social issues plaguing Nigerians, the RCCG GO led the church in rebuking the spirit of sudden death, infirmities; the spirit called cancer, spirit called hypertension, stroke in the life of Christians.
