The Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has denied any association with a young woman filmed in a series of leaked sex videos now making the rounds on social media.
On Thursday, the lady, who had identified as a sex worker, was said to be a student of the Oyo-based varsity.
She had taken to social media to share a short video where she condemned those “badmouthing” her. She also said she does not regret her action while defending her job.
“You don’t know me, I don’t know you, so, don’t badmouth me. I don’t give a f**k. I am Oloso (prostitute). It’s a good work,” she said
In a new development, Lekan Fadeyi, a spokesperson of LAUTECH, said she is not a student of the institution.
“We don’t have anything to do with the lady you mentioned. There are many of them who did not even complete secondary school education but would go on social media to claim they are LAUTECH students,” he told Punch
He also added: “We don’t know her. LAUTECH is a school for serious-minded students and staff and not her type.”
As contradictory accounts of how the videos came to the public domain spread, it was gathered that the men in the sex tape had asked the lady to star in a pornographic film with the promise of paying her as much as $5,000.
However, after the video was shot, the lady was allegedly not paid. It was also claimed that the men involved started extorting money from her to prevent them from releasing the videos, which also captured their faces online.
In the video divided in parts, a third member of the group had filmed the scene while others took turns to sleep with her.
