Russia has denied any involvement in the Ukraine train attack that killed 30 civillians and injured about 100 persons in Kramatorsk.

A railway station in the Eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk was hit by missile Friday morning,

The Ukrainian Railway Chief, Alexander Kamyshin, mentioned that the attack was an intentional act on the passengers, infrastructure and the residents of the community.

According to Donetsk Governor, Pavlo Kyrylenko, thousands of people were waiting at Kramatorsk’s train station to be evacuated.

Ukrainian officials accused Russia over the attack, saying it took place as civilians were at the station in an attempt to evacuate to safer parts of the country.

The city is in the part of the Donetsk region that remains under Ukrainian control. Pro-Russian separatists lay claim to the entire region.
