Fans condemn Ronke Oshodi Oke over social media outburst

Nollywood actress, Ronke Oshodi Oke stunned her fans when she broke down in tears over the headline used in the current interview she granted.

In the viral interview, Ronke said it’s unreasonable for a woman to be the breadwinner, then return home and still be expected to cook.

In four videos posted on Instagram, she wept profusely, adding that the interview is incomplete and the part that went viral was used to defame her.

A cross section of Nigerians have reacted to her outburst. Fuad said:”Why are you crying when you open your mouth to say is not going to work, your crying is nothing but fake “.

“You show the world who you truly her…no need for crying” Shola said

“Yoruba people are so dramatic sha. Come and carry your Aunty because I don’t know why she is crying” Zainab said

Demola said:” I’m so disappointed in her come back. She was real and she doesn’t denial her statement. The whole weeping was for the acknowledgement of the good things she said. I still don’t understand. How many ladies out there are bread winners and are also submissive? Very few I must say”.

“ Sometimes I wonder why our celebrities lose their senses during an interview, and after the interview they start acting like all they said was from a script forcefully given to them to read out.

“I do not understand at all. Lack of confidence and inferiority complex is the issues most Nigeria celebrities are facing. Speak your mind and stand by your words and not coming afterwards crying” Emeka said.
