Toke Makinwa has revealed why she flaunts her butt.
The 35-year-old presenter-cum-actress disclosed that she flaunts her bum on social media because it is a trend.
Makinwa noted her butt has “constantly turned to negative energy,” of recent, hence she has decided to flaunt it.
“My back is constantly turned to negative energy scratch motivational caption. Yes, I’m showing off my a** because I think it’s a trend and inserts Lauryn hill Doo Wop. Good morning, damn I’m all that,” she wrote on Instagram.
The media gal in time past has made headlines for several controversial issues
In one of her Vlog series, she had taken a swipe at African traditions as well as religion for discouraging divorce among couples, while advocating “till death do you part” gospels.
She said: “The only sanity you can guarantee is yours. Tradition has failed us. Social pressure has failed us. Religion has failed us. Everyone believes that this ‘till death do you part’ really means till you both die,” she said.
“Everyone who gets married wants to stay married forever. But there are some cases where these things are not just what they seem. You might plan to love someone for the rest of your life.
“But, along the line, things change and you guys don’t necessarily feel the same way. People should look at divorce as not a disease. Even before you divorce, let’s talk about separation.
“Why don’t we preach separation enough? If things are not working, it’s okay for you guys to go your separate ways and try to access things from that end. I’m a big fan of separation.”
Earlier in the year, Toke stated that mothers of guys she has dated, don’t usually love her.
In her words:”All the guys I’ve dated, I don’t think their mums liked me. I don’t know what I did. I’ve dated someone whose mother always prayed for me to find my own husband (not her son),” Toke said.
“As I was dating her son, she’ll tell me: ‘God will provide your own husband.’ I was like, ‘Mummy, but I’ve been with your son.’ And she’ll say it again. I honestly moved on.
“I almost married a guy in London just to get citizenship. I don’t know where he is right now. Lenny, wherever you are, thank you boo!
“I’ve been in a relationship that led to marriage. At the time when I was walking into that situation, I knew that the trust wasn’t there.
“I don’t know why I decided to walk down the aisle with someone I did not trust. At that point, the relationship was already doomed.”
