Rising actress and social media influencer, Eze Ngozichukwu a.k.a Ngo Sika, in this interview opens up on her passion for acting, handling negative comments, amongst other issues.
When did you notice you had a talent for acting?
I knew I wanted to act at the age of five. It wasn’t like I had the talent, but I wanted to act. I didn’t know what acting was about.I was inspired by Nkiru Sylvanus. I wanted to act because I loved the way she played her role.
How has the journey been so far?
It’s been fun and a learning experience.
Have actors, directors and producers been reaching out to you?
A producer actually reached out to me for the first movie I featured in. Since then, I have featured in two of his movies.
How do you handle negative comments?
Negative comments are part of life. You cannot just go on expecting only positive comments. I handle them same way I handle positive comments.
Do you think your being sexy is an advantage?
Being sexy is an advantage and I think being sexy isn’t for everyone.It’s a huge job to be sexy.If you can use your sexiness to get what you want, you have understood life.Yes! my being sexy is an advantage.
Has being a social media influencer been financially rewarding?
Yes, but my social media platforms are more like investments.It is where I put in my money. The account is self-sustaining at the moment.
Do you get naughty requests from male fans?
Yes I get naughty requests from male fans, it is normal.
How do you handle attention from male fans?
I enjoy every bit of the attention I get from my male fans.If you reach out to me respectfully and responsibly, I will respect you back.
What are your favourite qualities in a man?
I love a man that is decisive and homely. I have a thing for tall huge men. May be it’s because I am a 5-4 lady.I love men with flabby tummy, it’s my weakness.
How have you been handling the lockdown?
The lockdown has been very good to me. As a creative person, I have more time to do other things. I basically do things that has to do with the usage of the hands. The lockdown has been in my favour. I pray it passes over us.
