A source in an upscale Chicago bathhouse has alleged that Jussie Smollett, American actor-cum-singer, “had a sexual relationship” with one of his assailants before the alleged hoax attack on him.
In 2019, Smollett had told police that he was attacked outside his apartment by two men who poured an unknown liquid on him, called him inciting names while putting a noose on his neck.

But according to Page Six, visits to the upscale gay bathhouse may prove that the embattled “Empire” star was more than friends with Abimbola Osundairo, one of his alleged attackers.
“They used to party together and he had a sexual relationship. They went to this affluent Chicago bathhouse multiple times and they had to show ID,” the source was quoted to have said.

“It’s known as a bathhouse where a lot of affluent black gay men hang out. There should be a record [of their visits].”
It is also believed that the bathhouse records may be summoned in Smollett’s upcoming trial on charges of disorderly conduct.
Smollett had claimed the attack on him might have been motivated by his criticism of Trump’s administration in connection with the threatening letter sent to him in January of the same year.
While Olabinjo and Abimbola Osundairo, the two Nigerian-American brothers, were arrested for alleged hate attack, Smollett was indicted for disorderly conduct after claims were made that he had paid the duo to stage a fake hate crime.
TheNewsGuru recalls that back in April last year, the brothers had also filed a defamation suit against Smollett’s lawyers.
