Nigerian pop star, Wizkid is back after a two-month hiatus with a new song titled ‘Jah Bless me’.
The award-winning singer, who had announced his intention to take a break in January, returned to social media on Monday, indicating that he had new music on the way.
The new song which is yet to be officially released is titled ‘Jah Bless Me’. Ghanaian beat maker, KillBeatz, produced the song and it reportedly recorded during his recent vacation in Ghana.
In the song, the self-proclaimed star boy sings about the pains of living in the Ghetto, singing lines like:” Please God when you send me my daily bread, please don’t put it where it’s hard to find”.
While throwing a jab at the government for not doing enough for the people, he also urged the ghetto youth to “drop your guns and pick your words”.
