Rising actress, Taiwo Adepeko has broken down in tears after hoodlums looted her store in Lagos.
The movie star and entrepreneur shared the sad news in a series of emotional video clips on her Instagram page on Sunday.
In one of the videos, the devastated role interpreter recounted how she laboured for years — including indulging in tedious jobs — alongside acting just to set up the business.
Adepeko, who is known for movies like ‘Oba Majemu’, stated that since she lost her mother at the age of five, she has been struggling alongside her siblings
According to her, several valuable items including gold and wristwatches, which were among her latest stocks from Dubai, were looted during the unfortunate occurrence.
“We are orphans and this happened to us, it’s not easy to get money to start up a business and everything will go off in just one night,” she captioned another video.
“There’s no more security in our environment and hoodlums are taking advantage of this. We have a family to take care of, shattered is an understatement.
“Words fail me, the government should do something about this @desmondelliot @babajidesanwolu @buhari , you people failed as governments.”
