Arise TV business anchor Rotus Oddiri has taken to his social media page to express shock following the praise and worship scheduled by the Delta State Government to celebrate Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s first year anniversary in office.
TheNewGuru.com reports that Christian festival of praise is currently holding today, Wednesday, May 29th, at the Event Centre, Asaba, as part of activities lined up in celebration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s first year anniversary.
The praise and worship day, according to the statement signed by the Publicity sub-committee, will be preceded by a thanksgiving service at Living Faith Church, Asaba, on Sunday with gospel artists from all over the country participating.
Amongst top gospel artists billed to perform is, Mercy Chinwo, Frank Edwards, Evang. Emmanuel Ofano, Buchi, Asu Ekiye, Evang Jerry Ekpekuro and Tisio-Tisio.
Reacting to the ongoing prasie session, Oddiri via the microblogging platform, X formerly Twitter, shared a video from the prasie session, laying emphasis on that fact the service is been held on a week day.
He added that he’s loss for word over the action of the Delta State Government.
Sharing the video, he wrote:
“Live On @Arisetv The Government of Delta State is hosting a full blown praise and worship service on a Wednesday morning to celebrate the first year in Office of governor Sheriff Oborevwori. I am at a loss for words.”
