Leicester City of England striker, Kelechi Iheanacho has said he is fit for the Super Eagles encounter against hosts Côte d’Ivoire.
TheNewsGuru.com (TNG) reports Super Eagles play Côte d’Ivoire next on Thursday after drawing 1:1 against Equatorial Guinea last Sunday in the ongoing 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Iheanacho had been absent from the Super Eagles squad and missed Nigeria’s first game against Equatorial Guinea due to injury concerns.
Iheanacho, recovering from a knock, joined the team late , a day to the game, which effectively ruled him out of the match.
“I was out for a bit but I am ready now. I am ready to go. I am 100% fit now. I am ready to serve the nation,” Iheanacho said.
TNG reports Super Eagles will on Thursday play hosts Côte d’Ivoire, who sit on top of Group A.
